The lighting is done exceptionally well. I love the angle on this- below the creature. I absolutely LOVE the colors. I absolutely love this(especially the colors of the light above!)
I LOVE the dust swirls on the floor. Very realistic looking. And the dramatic, deep shading and colors are amazing. I also love how you included the details of the dust particles in the light.
I feel as if the, colossus?(is that what it's called?) should be shaded a bit more. I feel as if it's lacking enough shading.
I really have not much to critique, except for the sort of... warrior? that is standing in front of the rock. It is apparent that something is glowing from him/her(a wand or sword or some weapon maybe?) and I feel as if there should be at least a little more reflection on the rock.
Originality: 3.5 Stars
One of the best I've seen before, although fighting a bad guy-type picture isn't original in itself(because nothing in art is ever original anymore!)
Technique: 5 Stars
The way you used your tools for this is wonderful. You really brought out the best in your capabilities, and I absolutely adore this piece.
Impact: 4.5 Stars
Overall, this piece really jumps out at me. I don't remember ever giving such a high rated critique, and I'm glad to have come across this. Good job, instant favorite.
